Cherokee Casino Tahlequah is one of those restaurants that you need to see in person. If you have never been to it, you are missing out. The food is very delicious and the service is very attentive.
Although Cherokee Casino Tahlequah is located in downtown Albuquerque, one of the best parts of the restaurant is the people who work there. Cheyenne and her two co-workers are a perfect example of how an Indian man and his wife can still have a great job even after being widowed. The couple’s son, also a restaurant worker, is a lovely young man who seems to truly love his job and has a genuine smile.
The restaurant is owned by a Cherokee man and his wife, and the two are the only ones who are allowed on the property during business hours. For most of the year the restaurant is a total family affair, but once the seasons change, the staff become less and less needed. The employees who worked there are not allowed to get married, but anyone over the age of 18 is.
And since the restaurant is so big, and everyone has so much free time, sometimes there are no employees at all. The couple seems to have a lot of free time and can’t afford to hire anyone else. What’s worse is that when they get married, they won’t be able to get married again. What a tragedy.
What a tragedy, but what a blessing that the family they were trying to keep together has finally found someone to love them. There is one family down in Cherokee, Tahlequah, who have been trying to keep the Cherokee Nation in balance. The Cherokee people have made it so that if you are Cherokee, you are also Tahlequah, and this means you are also Cherokee, but not as Cherokee.
The Cherokee Nation was originally made up of six tribes from the six states that made up the Republic of Cherokee, including the Cherokee. These six tribes came to the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana in the eighteenth century. The Cherokee Nation was forced to cede land to its enemies in the 1800s, and it was forced to create a separate government to keep the tribe together.
