We at Pii say that there are a number of things that can impact traffic on your website. One of the main things (as well as the obvious ones) is how many visitors you have.
To begin with most companies will want to see how many customers they can get. If you have a high traffic site its likely that you might see a lot more visitors than you should. To counter that, we also recommend that companies also create a content calendar. This is a list of the website’s important dates on the web.
Another type of traffic that can come our way is referral traffic. This is the traffic that comes from people who have seen our content on other websites before. It’s important to remember that these are people who have seen and even liked our content before. So it’s important to keep this as low as possible.
There is a certain logic to this. The first thing you should do is ask your website’s visitors whether they visit your website for informational reasons or if they’re there for a social interaction. Knowing that you’re not just selling a bunch of useless information but are actually trying to connect with these people will not only help you to build a better relationship with your visitors but also help you to sell more products.
