Do you have a car? If you don’t, you wouldn’t drive it anyway. We’ve all heard of the “you are what you eat.” The same thing goes for our cars.

I have a car, but I dont have a car to drive.

No, you do not. I dont have a car to drive and I have a car. I have a car, but I dont have a car to drive.

Sure, I could buy one today. Maybe. But the odds of me being the only person with a car to drive in a place as big as New York City are slim to none. After all, there are plenty of people with cars to drive in cities, as well as in the suburbs. If you’re one of them, I’ll buy the car for you, but I’ll send you a bill for the cost of the rental.

The cost of renting a car in Manhattan is $100 per day, but it is the same in other cities. If you rent a car in NYC, the cost per day has been going up by about 40 percent since 2010. So, by this logic, if you wanted to rent a car in New York City for $100 a day, the odds are pretty much the same as if you were renting a car in the suburbs of New Jersey.

This is a case of the old adage: you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Or, you can make a silk purse out of your own self-awareness.

I have a friend who rents a car in Manhattan. The cost of renting a car in Manhattan is 100 per day, but it is the same in other cities, plus he can drive across the country in a single car cost savings. He is also a professional photographer, so he has to make sure his car is in good condition when he is away from home.

And because he is renting a car, he is no longer an owner, and his credit score is not as good as a car owner’s. So he has to pay the car rental company in advance, and he can’t even use a credit card for the payment. This makes for a very stressful situation, but is also one of the perks of being an independent business owner.

When I was in a similar situation (renting a car), I was able to take advantage of the car rental company’s “for-hire policy” by using a credit card. This allows me to pay in installments rather than full price. And, for the sake of this argument, I’m assuming that the rental company uses a credit card.
